week of Oct. 10, 2011

Students should be working on their 2 country maps. We will take some of Thursday's class to work on them. Otherwise, the remainder is to be completed on their own.

For Thursday, all students must have 2 copies of their blank map and a good source. If a small map is printed off the internet it usually does not show enough detail. BOOKS are still wonderful sources of information. But please take only 1 book from the library. Some students are checking out 3 & 4 books at the same time, and others have access to nothing. I will have atlases available for them to use.

We're finishing our notes on Geography Skills 2 this week. Test on these skills plus the World Map on Friday. Please note - This has to be moved to Tuesday of next week.
